Superboy is suffering from the effects of the Clone-Plague. This leaves him in no shape to face the new threat of Silver Sword.

Dubbilex races to get Superboy back to Cadmus labs. It appears he has gotten the Clone disease, something that has been going around Metropolis for months. And to date their is no cure! Just before Superboy leaves Hawaii, Tana gives Superboy a kiss for fear they might not see each other again.

Meanwhile a misterious substance has bonded with a Hawaii police officer to create SILVER SWORD. Silver Sword attacks the Navy seeing them as evil. Superboy not yet back at Cadmus comes racing back, still sick, to do battle with Silver Sword.

After Defeating SIlver Sword Superboy is being flown back to Metropolis when the plane runs into some trouble, Cadmus labs is under attack!
